MWSA, September Stated Meeting, Hella Shrine Circus and Open House

Activities around James A. Smith Masonic Lodge #395 are beginning to ramp up. We have several upcoming events for both Masons and the Public, and are making plans for many more. Please check back frequently for event updates.

James A Smith Masonic Lodge is proudly hosting the monthly meeting of the 14th District, Masters, Wardens and Secretaries Association, (M.W.S.A.). The date is Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will follow dinner. If you are not familiar with the M.W.S.A. come join us for a great evening. The topic for the evening will be discussion about implementing social media to benefit our Lodges. There will also be a short talk from Brother Ambassador George Rutherford regarding esoteric work. This is an open meeting and all are welcome. You can even bring your spouse!

James A. Smith Masonic Lodge has our regular stated meeting Thursday, September 8, 2016. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Dinner and fellowship is at 6:30 p.m. and anyone is welcome. Meetings are open to all Masons and begin following dinner (around 7:30).

The 2016 Hella Shrine “Shriner’s” Circus is right around the corner. Performing September 15th-18th, with performances that will dazzle the entire family, at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, the Hella Shrine Circus is sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Open House. Sunday, October 23rd from 2pm until at least 4pm. James A. Smith Masonic Lodge, along with every other Masonic Lodge in the state of Texas will be having an “Open House” at the direction of Grand Master Wendell P. Miller. The purpose is to foster community awareness of what our local lodges do, who Masons are, and how they have always benefitted the communities. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. This is for the Public, families, friends, anyone who wants to know more about Freemasonry. Refreshments will be provided.
